Furniture and works of art
For nearly 20 years, sales of 18th- and 19th-century furniture and objets d’art have borne the hallmark of Rémy Le Fur. The finest collections have passed through his hands, including the sale of the Château de Groussay in 1999. This experience proves to be a true asset in the dispersal of the furnishings from your properties, where we put all our expertise at the service of your assets—both during the auction itself and in the staging of the exhibition, where we take the utmost care to present your objects just as you have brought them to life.
AuctionArt’s first sale was dedicated to the furniture and objets d’art housed in the Pavillon de Musique of the Countess of Provence, as well as a portion from the former collection of D. David-Weill. Highlights included a bronze “Neptune” with a brown patina after Tiziano Aspetti, which sold for €247,840, and a tea table converted into a pedestal table stamped Adam Weisweiler, which sold for €198,272.
Marie-Hélène Corre is available to respond to your requests for appraisals with the utmost discretion. Our teams welcome you at our offices at 3 Place du Louvre, 75001 Paris, by appointment at 01 40 06 06 08.
