CHARITY AUCTION OF ARCHITECTURAL SKETCHES
of architectural sketches and photographs
for the benefit of the Emergency Architects Foundation
Thursday, March 23, 2023 - 7pm
All over the world, in the North as well as in the South, millions of people remain poorly housed, without a roof over their heads or a place to live. This question of housing remains one of the central concerns of our societies. For without a place, we are no one.
Disasters often strike the most exposed populations, the most poorly housed, those who do not have the means to build or protect themselves.
Because aid for the recovery of populations is the ultimate goal of all humanitarian aid, Emergency Architects put their know-how and skills at their service, fighting so that the mobilization of resources is done in favor of permanent and not transitory construction, and thus favoring a rapid return to decent living conditions.
Created in 2001, this organization, recognized as a public utility, has conducted multiple emergency assistance and reconstruction programs in more than 40 countries to help vulnerable populations.
Because providing assistance to populations in distress also means allowing them to regain dignified and decent living conditions as quickly as possible, Emergency Architects has been contributing to the reconstruction of housing, schools and health infrastructures, essential for hundreds of families throughout the world for more than 20 years, thus contributing to restoring hope for a better future.
