GEBRÜDER THONET Model 1006 or 6506 armchair in mahogany-stained wood with an openwork backrest featuring a stylized floral motif in the center, original front legs and curved armrests, and a period seat in embossed leather with a stylized floral design and studded edging. 70.5 cm x 55 cm, height 106 cm. Thonet edition, Vienna, circa 1905; manufacturer’s iron stamp on the underside of the seat. Signs of wear and weathered leather. Bibliography: Featured in the company’s 1904 sales catalog.
