CLAUDE-LÉON MASCAUX (1882–1965) Cypris A circular, double-sided bronze medal with a patina, depicting Aphrodite seated, plucking the petals from a flower held by the young Eros. On the reverse, the same figures are depicted in a boat on the waves, accompanied by a Greek inscription. Diameter: 11 cm. Signed by L-C Mascaux and master foundryman Maurice Koller in Paris, circa 1925.
