WILDE (Oscar) & STRAUSS (Richard). Salomé. A one-act mus - Lot 42
WILDE (Oscar) & STRAUSS (Richard). Salomé. A one-act musical drama. Berlin, Adolph Fürstner, n.d. Bradel 8vo, havana half-box with band, red cover preserved in slipcase (Leroux - 1986). Musical drama based on a poem by Oscar WILDE with music by Richard STRAUSS, “first performed in French at the Théâtre de la Monnaie in Brussels.” Libretto of Strauss’s contribution to “Salomé,” which caused a scandal. Spine faded.
