The Ne'matollâhi Sufi brotherhood (tarîqa) takes its name from its founder Shah Nematollah (Nur ad-Din Nimatullâh Wali, or Ne'matollâh Wali), who settled and died in the Kirman region of Iran in the 14th century. The Nimatullahi (Nematollahi) community originated in Iran and developed in the United States and Europe following the Iranian Revolution of 1979.
