SAINT-LOUIS and Gilbert POILLERAT Hot-air balloon in triple turquoise enamel over white enamel, with engraved and gilded decoration of solar heads, the royal monogram LL and lion protomes. Model signed and dated 1983, designed by Poillerat to commemorate the tercentenary of the first ascent in a free balloon (1783). Height: 12 cm (slight wear).
