Oval snuffbox in yellow gold entirely chased and decorated with trophies featuring allegorical attributes of the sciences and arts in three-tone gold: yellow rose and green on an amati ground in molded scrolls inscribing rosettes. The borders are highlighted with garlands of foliage and interlacing. Master goldsmith: Louis-Philippe DEMAY received September 13, 1758. PARIS 1765/1766.
