ERIC BAGGE (1890-1978) Pair of Art Deco club armchairs with full arms upholstered in cotton and artificial silk fabric, "Evolution" model with stylized motifs in shades of blue and beige from an original design by the famous decorator, front cuffs and detached one-piece base in varnished walnut. Size 69cm x 80cm and height 62cm. Éditions Mercier Frères and Lucien Bouix (fabric), 1929. Original condition, fabric insolate and damaged. Model presented at the third Exposition de la Décoration Française Contemporaine at the Pavillon de Marsan in 1929.
