Modern work, circa 1960 Sideboard in silver-plated metal with two rectangular trays with a frieze simulating a chain around the edge and an original base consisting of four cavalry officer's ceremonial sabers circa 1850 arranged in an "x" shape. Period inscription engraved on each edge of the saber blade. Height 63 Width 96 Depth 60 cm (scratches from use)
