In-8°, plum half-chagrin, spine ribbed and decorated (period binding). FIRST EDITION. Argentine soldier and writer Álvaro Gabriel Barros was Governor of the Province of Buenos Aires in 1874 and the first Governor of Patagonia in Patagonia in 1879, just before the main offensive of the Conquest of the Desert. Spine faded: small accident on five leaves.
