In-8°, long-grained midnight-blue morocco, broad framing of fillets, fine serrated roulettes and gilded fleurons adorning the boards, ornate ribbed spine, gilded edges, red moire lining and endpapers (Rel. P. Lefebvre). ORIGINAL EDITION of this work, openly inspired by Frédéric SCHILLER's tragedy published in 1800 1820 in Paris, in a translation by M. de Latouche, by the publishers Bataille and Barba (with an almost identical title page).
