ITALY 1809 - 1814 Important 950 thousandths silver tureen, oval-shaped, with vermeil interior. The pedestal is chased with lanceolate leaves, the two handles with horn-of-plenty attachments frame an antique-style bearded man. The lid features an eagle with outstretched wings on a mound above chased Empire-style motifs in two registers. This tureen was made under French occupation, and the guarantee mark bears the number 76. Weight : 2900 g - length : 47 cm - width : 21,4 cm - height : 35 cm
