In-4°, morocco, spine ribbed and decorated with a cold-stamped gilt decoration slightly scratching the boards, lining in light brown morocco decorated with gilt fillets and mosaic coat of arms in the centre, endpapers in tobacco tabis, edges gilt, illustrated cover preserved (P. Affolter - J. Augoyat sr. / A. Cuzin). Numerous etchings by Omer BOUCHERY in the text or outside the text. Printed at 150 copies, this one (n° 47), ONE OF THE 50 HEADERS ON IMPERIAL JAPON containing, unjustified, an additional suite of pure etchings, signed by the artist. THIS ISSUE CONTAINS AN ORIGINAL SIGNED AQUARELLE (the one for the illustration on p. 15: "Porte Saint-Pierre"). EXAMPLE WITH THE MOSAIC ARMS of Jean RÉGNIER, duke of MASSA (1875-1946).
