ANJOU & MAINE-et-LOIRE]. A set of miscellaneous documents dating from the early 15th century to the early 20th century. Approximately 80 documents (some on parchment): marriage contracts, other contracts, wills, donations, military appointments, leases, etc., mainly from the city or region of Angers and concerning the Maugars de La Fosse and Grimout families and their allies (including the Regnard family). - A first folder containing about twenty documents, including four drawn up for a member of the [de] Grimoult family (sentence of 1670, pension of 1810, appointment to the rank of lieutenant of the Gardes du corps in 1814, with the signature of the Duke of Feltre, and certificate of 1816 bearing the signature of the Duke of Berry). A second folder containing three dozen documents, including a brevet de lieutenant de Dragons for sr Villemothe (May 1707) bearing the signature of Louis XIV (secretary) and countersigned by the minister Chamillard. A third cardboard folder containing about fifteen documents. ---- A fourth folder containing about fifteen pieces of the same origin (including a large folded map of the Sahara).
