CHINA - Early Qing Period (1644 - 1911), 17th century Round-shaped box in black lacquer and gold with decoration on the lid of a dragon facing among the clouds, the sides of the lid decorated with three reserves of dragons running on a background of cherry trees and broken ice. The edges are decorated with a frieze of flowers, and the lower sides are made of wickerwork. On the reverse, the Cheng Jundian zao brand. (Small accidents). Diam. 16.5 cm.
