CHINA - Early MING period (1368 - 1644), 2nd half of the 15th century Porcelain bowl decorated in blue under the cover of two phoenixes flying among the lotus flowers and clouds in the center. The fall decorated with a garland of flowers and stylized greek. On the reverse, a stylized dragon among the garlands of flowers. (Restoration, small splinters). Diam. 25 cm. References: Chinese porcelain in a Norman Manor, a story of "blue and white", by Alain Saint Loubert Bié, p. 36. Exhibition: This dish was presented during the exhibition organized by the Société Française d'Etude de la Céramique Orientale, SFECO, in 2006 at the Compagnie de la Chine et des Indes.
